Toronto weather is hard on metal. Snow, ice, road salt and summer heat all wear down a gate that is not built well. That is why we use premium grade steel and iron, apply a marine grade epoxy primer, and finish every gate with an industrial grade coating.
A strong coating helps protect against rust and keeps the colour looking fresh. To keep your gate in good shape, rinse off winter salt in spring and wipe it down once or twice a year. It takes only a few minutes.
